Psikososyal Akademi<\/strong> has set out to become one of Turkey’s leading institutions in education and consulting. <\/span>Psikososyal Akademi is a platform that aims to develop the capacity of individuals and institutions, particularly mental health professionals, by providing scientifically-based, current, dynamic, and practical knowledge. Since its establishment, it has been developing partnerships with public, private, and civil society organizations to reach every corner of Turkey.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Why Psikososyal?<\/span><\/span><\/h2>

As long as society exists, humans will exist, and human existence will perpetuate the need for psychosocial support. Each passing day, we better understand the importance of work done and to be done in the psychosocial field. Indeed, \u00c9mile Durkheim emphasized that society shapes individual identity, stating, ‘Society is a mold imprinted upon the individual.’ This understanding demonstrates that psychosocial support is essential for both personal and social development.<\/p>\n

Addressing precisely this need, as Psikososyal Akademi, we aim to support the professional development of experts who directly or indirectly contribute to community and mental health by strengthening their knowledge, skills, and competencies from developmental, psychological, and social perspectives. <\/span>In this direction, we offer inclusive and accessible content for mental health professionals, public and private sector employees, civil society organizations, and families. Thus, we have adopted the principle of comprehensively addressing access to quality mental health services that spread from the individual to society.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, we recognize that every individual and institution has different needs. With this awareness, guided by science, with our adaptive and flexible structure, we aim to contribute to the field by developing targeted, unique programs with our instructors who stand out with their expertise and academic qualifications, while staying true to our sensitivities.<\/p>\n
